Protocol for setting up shaking 6-well plate cultures:
• Use Greiner 6-well plates for cell suspension with 3 mL per well.
• Shake at 130 rpm on an Infors Multitron
™
Incubator with a 25 mm
throw. If the throw is different, the rpm should be calculated to
achieve a similar RCF (RCF = 1.118 x 10

• To minimize evaporation, place plates in a closed box (plastic box
with latchable lid, with holes punched in the lid) containing wipes
moistened with sterile water.
